Agenda Topics
- Redesign: We've redesigned the Topics page to incorporate easier to read information
- If a topic is on an agenda it will tell you which meeting
- Creating: When you create a new topic from this section it will ask you if you want to place it in the queue or you can assign it directly to a meeting upon initial creation instead of having to do it from the Meetings section of the app
- Quick Actions: There are new quick actions on each topic in the list for edit, duplication, assignment, deletion, and jumping directly to the meeting that topic is on.
- Video Chapters: You can now update the video chapter marker of an agenda item. Go to the "Live" tab, you will see the video of the meeting and it will go to where the current chapter marker is. You can scroll in the video to where you want the new chapter marker to be and simply press the "Update Chapter Marker" button.
- Assigning: The list to choose which meeting to assign an item to whether via duplicate or assign, will now show all meetings that are not published. This allows you to assign topics to older meetings. (Previously it would only show meetings scheduled on the current day or beyond.)
Engage Search
When searching for agenda topic information on the engage (public) portal, if the item someone is looking at has a video associated with it, it will show the video in the bottom right and jump to where the timestamp is in that meeting's video.
The video window itself floats, meaning you can drag it anywhere you want so if it's covering some information you can drag it out of the way.
Live Meetings
- On the home page admins can now see all scheduled meetings and don't have to be added as a member to that board in order for them to appear
- If a meeting is left running, admins now have an new option allowing them "Force Adjourn" the meeting. (accessed via the 3 dot icon)
- This performs all the same functionality behind the scenes as if the meeting manager ended the meeting themselves.
- It also notifies any connected real-time devices / AV equipment of the adjournment
Minutes
- Video: If you have a video linked to the meeting a new button will appear at the bottom right of the screen. You can press this to show and watch the meeting's video right from the minutes page (also if you press the button again the video will continue to play in the background so you can list without having the video visible so you can show/hide the video at any point without interrupting it from playing)
- When you have the video visible buttons appear under every topic allowing you to jump to that chapter in the video.
- If the chapter marker is a little off you put the video to where you want the chapter marker to actually be and then click the "Update Chapter Marker" button to save the new position.
- These chapter markers are also where it will jump in the video when using the Engage Portal Player.
- When you have the video visible buttons appear under every topic allowing you to jump to that chapter in the video.
- Properties: We've added a new meeting status called "Manual Minutes". You can set a meeting to this status via "Edit" => "Meeting Properties".
- The purpose of this new status is if you are adding or importing meetings prior to utilizing AgendaLink or don't want to use our minutes building functionality for delivering info to the public.
- As part of this, you can now also upload your own minutes pdf via "Edit" => "Meeting Properties" as well.
- It will show throughout the app and engage portal that minutes are available for this item.
- If viewing on the engage "public" portal, you will still be taken to the agenda and the button to download the minutes pdf will be at the top.
- Within the app, it will take you to the minutes building aspect of the software where you can utilize all the minutes functionality we offer, but none of that info gets delivered to the public.
Misc
- We've upgraded the printing of agendas to produce better results not only in printing but also pdf conversions behind the scenes
- Data Optimizations
Bug Fixes
- When entering minutes information on an item, longer information could go off the page and you weren't able to scroll down to access it.
- Sorting the meeting's table wasn't working after the introduction of quick filtering
