Boards
- There's a new option for boards where you can set it for internal use only. This means any meetings or information about this board are not available through the public portal. The most common use cases for this are:
- Training: You can create a board that is used internally for training and the public has no idea it even exists in the software.
- Your council chamber has digital nameplates and you share the space between city meetings / court and you would like to use the nameplates for court sessions. By setting the "Courts" board to internal use only it doesn't show on the public portal but you can use it internally to trigger the nameplates to activate for court sessions.
Meetings
- Added the ability to update the meeting type wording for a meeting from minutes as well. This way if you change a board's name to be more generic it's possible to go back to previous meetings and update the name of the meeting type if desired.
- Added the ability to set description, sub items, and report information on the bulk topic automatically created for an agenda group that is a bulk vote group. You will see a "Live Details" button when you expand that group when building your agenda. Clicking this will open the topics information allowing you to edit information in it just like a normal topic.
Minutes
- Your minutes now match the options you have set for your published agenda with regards to the font used and group separator.
Live Meetings
- The "Live Tally" option under Settings -> Options will now also show the meeting manager a color representation of each member's vote during a vote.
- When resetting stars it no longer resets the request to speak keep that in tact but just resetting the speaking round stars
- When adding a new motion, the stars for speaking rounds will auto-reset but the request to speak queue stays in tact
Sharepoint/OneDrive Integration (Beta)
We are officially in beta for our OneDrive / Sharepoint integration which is designed to allow you to link files there directly to agenda topics in our software. Then be able to click on them to open and work on them.
If you would like to test it out, please create a support ticket requesting access and our team will work with you to provide access.
We will be working with those who have beta access to review how it works with your SharePoint sites and users access to them, in order to make it adaptable for everyone.
